Shan Yu is in Mulan. He appearances in "Power Play". He tries to get Finn to "Hand over the Magic". He is not a fan of Maleficent and does not follow her commands. He wants the magic for himself. Shan Yu threatens Finn but Finn then says that they are on the same side, because both don't follow "the green one" (Maleficent, the overtakers). Finn suggests being allies, so Shan Yu says that allies share resources and if Finn is his ally if he has to share the magic with him. Finn replies saying It is not mine to share because he's selfish and doesn't uphold his promises. Shan Yu gets mad at this remark and tries to kill Finn, but he escapes.
