Shenzi, Banzai and Ed are the secondary antagonists of The Lion King and the main antagonists of The Lion King 1½. They are Scar's former henchmen and Timon and Pumbaa's arch-nemesis.
They are first seen in Kingdom Keepers 5: Shell Game. They are most likely owned by Cruella de Vil. They first appear in the beginning of the book chasing Finn and Willa. They appear again at the lifeboats on "The Dream". The last place they appear is under the butts of "The Dream", guarding the mysterious crate that has Chernabog in it. Maybeck holds them off by putting on a hat that looks like Scar's face. The hyenas that were shown were named Howly and Happy. They are from the Lion King
